[imagely id=”19″] We thank God for the grand success of Vethamonickam – Ringletaubae Day 2026 (the 220th Year Thanksgiving Service) conducted by Church of South India, Kanyakumari Diocese at C.S.I. District Church, Mylady on 25th April 2026 at 10.00 a.m.
The blessed service was presided over by The Rt Revd Dr S. Christopher Vijayan, Bishop, C.S.I. Kanyakumari Diocese.
The celebration was enriched by the inspiring message delivered by The Rt Revd Dr Prinston Ben, Bishop, C.S.I. South Kerala Diocese.
We were also honoured by the gracious presence of The Rt Revd Jose George, Bishop, C.S.I. Kollam Kottarakara Diocese, and The Rt Revd Dr A.R. Chelliah, Former Bishop, C.S.I. Kanyakumari Diocese. This program was jointly organised by Kanyakumari Diocese, South kerala Diocese and Kollam Kottarakara Diocese.

[imagely id=”15″] The 68th C.S.I. Kanyakumari Diocese Formation Day & Public Meeting was held on 02.06.2026 at Scott Christian College, Nagercoil. Our Bishop, the Rt. Rev. Dr. S. Christopher Vijayan, presided over the event. During the public meeting, the newly elected Minister, MLAs, and MPs were honored by our Diocese.

[imagely id=”20″] Holy Ordination Worship – A Blessed Celebration
The Church of South India, Kanyakumari Diocese, joyfully celebrated the Holy Ordination Worship on 28 June 2026 (Sunday) at C.S.I. Home Church, Nagercoil, in a spiritually uplifting atmosphere filled with worship, prayer, and thanksgiving.
The service was led by Rt. Rev. Dr. S. Christopher Vijayan, Bishop of the C.S.I. Kanyakumari Diocese, who bestowed the Holy Ordination upon the 32 ordinands, commissioning them for faithful ministry in the service of God and His Church.
The Ordination Message was delivered by Rt. Rev. Dr. Sharma Nithyanandam, Bishop of the C.S.I. Vellore Diocese. His inspiring message challenged the newly ordained ministers to shepherd God’s people with humility, compassion, integrity, and unwavering commitment, reflecting Christ’s love in their ministry. Former Bishop of the CSI Kanyakumari Diocese and former Moderator of the Church of South India, Rt. Rev. Dr. G. Devakadaksham, participated as the Guest of Honour.
The worship service was attended by clergy, diocesan officials, Dignitaries from various Theological Colleges, church workers, family members of the ordinands, and a large gathering of about 10000 believers from across the Diocese. The congregation united in prayer, seeking God’s abundant grace, wisdom, and strength for the newly ordained ministers as they begin this sacred calling.
Following the service, everyone shared in a joyful fellowship meal oranged by the diocese.
